Betina Abi Habib (Libanon) is een beeldend kunstenaar en performance kunstenaar gevestigd in Nederland. Met een focus op het schrijven van scripts verkent ze in haar werk de bewerking van 'canonieke' literatuur als middel om te onthullen en af te leren. Abi Habib behaalde een Bachelor in Architectuur aan de Amerikaanse Universiteit van Beiroet
(2017) en een Master in Scenografie aan de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (2020).
Onder haar recente projecten zijn de voorstellingen Sleep/wi/th a/ney/eo/pe/nand/you/will/see/your/self (2022), Pheadra Untrimmed (2022) en Baalat and her Double (2020).

Betina Abi Habib (Lebanon) is a visual and performance artist based in the Netherlands. With a focus on scriptwriting, her work explores adaptation of ‘canonical’ literature as a means of disclosing and unlearning. Abi Habib has obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Beirut (2017) and a Master in Scenography from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (2020).
Among her recent projects are the performances Sleep/wi/th a/ney/eo/pe/nand/you/will/see/your/self (2022), Pheadra Untrimmed (2022) and Baalat and her Double (2020).
