Leila Anderson (Kaapstad) is performance-maker en curator voor openbare kunst, momenteel gevestigd in België. Ze behaalde een MA aan DasTheater, Amsterdam (NL) en een BA in theatermaken aan de Universiteit van Kaapstad (ZA), waar ze jarenlang lesgaf in hedendaagse performance. 
Ze is de oprichter van het Borderlands Public Arts Project (2017 - 2020), dat participatieve artistieke ervaringen creëert in de bufferzones tussen gesegregeerde gemeenschappen op het Kaapse schiereiland.
Als performancemaker en dramaturg is ze gespecialiseerd in het werken met solokunstenaars tijdens het hele creatieproces: recentelijk Wanjiku Mwawuganga (KN), Ogutu Muraya (KN), Margo van de Linde (NL), Ana Wild (IS), Ngwatilo Wawiyoo (KN), wiens voorstellingen over de hele wereld te zien waren.

Leila Anderson (Cape Town) is a performance-maker and public arts curator currently based in Belgium. She holds an MA from DasTheater, Amsterdam (NL) and a BA in theatre-making from the University of Cape Town (ZA), where she taught contemporary performance for many years. 
She is the founder of the Borderlands Public Arts Project (2017 – 2020), that created participatory artistic experiences in the buffer zones between segregated communities of the Cape Peninsula.
As a performance maker and dramaturg she specialises in working with solo artists throughout the creation process: most recently Wanjiku Mwawuganga (KN), Ogutu Muraya (KN), Margo van de Linde (NL), Ana Wild (IS), Ngwatilo Wawiyoo (KN), whose performances are shown across the world.
