On 28 and 29 September, rosetta., Champion Sound, Trix Antwerpen, and de Brakke Grond present a weekend full of workshops for and by female and non-binary producers from the Netherlands and Flanders. This Dutch-Flemish exchange helps producers broaden their horizons and learn from each other's work, hopefully leading to beautiful new collaborations and productions. During this weekend, there are workshops that delve into technical, artistic, and personal aspects, helping to develop your vision as a producer.
About rosetta.
rosetta. is the platform for female and gender non-conforming music producers based in Amsterdam. In 2020, artist-producers Eva van Manen and Josephine Zwaan founded rosetta. to increase the visibility and employment of female and gender non-conforming producers. rosetta. guides, coaches, and stimulates producers (she/they) to take the next step in their musical development. rosetta. organizes courses, workshops, producer camps, and table talks and has grown into a platform that helps and represents a large network of she/they producers.
“We always do this with an awareness of the shoulders we stand on and in collaboration with other platforms. That’s why rosetta. is excited about the collaboration with Champion Sound, TRIX Antwerpen, and de Brakke Grond. This Dutch-Flemish exchange helps producers broaden their horizons, learn from each other's work, and hopefully leads to beautiful new collaborations and productions. During this two-day camp, rosetta. provides tools to develop yourself technically, artistically, and personally, to develop your vision as a producer. There are masterclasses, discussions, and afternoon sessions where you work together as producers on new productions. And all of this takes place in the heart of Amsterdam."
