On March 29, a satellite edition of the 'Out The Frame' festival will once again come to Amsterdam. 'Out The Frame' (a production of the Belgian Arts Center VIERNULVIER and All Eyes On Hip Hop) has been offering the best of the underground, from hip-hop to experimental soul, a stage every year since 2018. Following last year's inaugural edition featuring Youniss, Delish Da Goddess, Kleine Crack & Slagter, and Cheyanne Hudson, it's time to bring the underground back to Amsterdam.

This time with NAH & Dushime.

Dushime

Dushime (film/ theatrical actress, musician, singer, storyteller and performer) is a fresh appearance on the Belgian art scene. Through her multidisciplinary approach on the musical level and authentic, powerful and vulnerable performance style on the theatrical level, she brings with her a rare individuality. The Belgian-Rwandan artist sees the art of performance and music as a healing process in which one can truly come to one's purest form. She wields her voice as a versatile instrument, capable of changing into various textures and forms. Her goal is to create a kind of saturation of a space: how does that space come to you, how does it sound when you stomp and all the room screams back, a space where every step you take, thousands of people, stories move with you. She tries to be a portal of stories, sounds and textures with her music . The aim is to create an incomparable space , infused with harmonious sounds and fluid movements, in which an illuminating glow is created to connect people with an invisible thread-work of connection.

NAH

A head-tripping live audiovisual counterpart to an album of the same title. 'Totally Recalled' is the latest loud creation from NAH. Full of metaphorical visual reflections of the modern world, primitive impulses and experiencing life as an expat. ‘’Basically some big damn freaky videos projected all big behind NAH while he does his NAH thing loudly on the drums. Since the release of his first demos in 2011, percussionist, sound manipulator and visual artist, NAH has been developing his own dynamic synthesis of textured noise and genre smashing percussive rhythms with firm roots planted in DIY punk, noise, avant jazz, electronic music and the restlessness of hip-hop. Performing live with little, more than a drum kit and various samplers, he channels a frenetic energy that teeters on the edge of violent hostility and playful chaos. Recents years have found him not only producing his own work but also collaborating with artists such as Wiki, Mike, Moor Mother, Slauson Malone, & many more.

'Totally Recalled' will be released by VIERNULVIER Records later this year.
