Practical Information for the easily overstimulated
Below you find a list with specific clarification about the incentives per performance. You can always retreat to the chill-out space (rustruimte). Or if you have any questions, ask at the information desk.
A photographer and videographer will also be present during the festival, if you object to this please inform a member of staff at the info desk.
Chill-Out Space/ Rustruimte
- Audience seating: The audience can sit on a couch, cushions, beanbags, or a chair.
- There are fidgets, soundproof headphones, pen, and paper for your use.
- There is a projection of fishes to watch.
- The room is slightly lavender scented.
- There is a light scent of lavender
If every rock is a hole

- Audience seating: The audience is seated on a row of cushions on two sides of the podium.
- There are bright lights and moments of full darkness, the audience remains visible throughout the performance.
- There are several moments of silence .
- The performer moves close to the audience, but there is no physical contact.
- Upper body nudity.

- Audience seating: The audience is seated throughout the space, quite close together.
- The audience are asked to hold and flip through a book.
- It can become quite dark in the space.

- Audience seating: The audience is seated on a bench.
- To reach the performance location you have to go up two flights of stairs, this performance is not wheelchair accessible.
- Audiences are physically touched by the work and asked to physically participate.
- There is an even pressure on your body.
- The audience is asked to remove their shoes.
- Constant personal guidance and check ins.
A Play of Space

- Audience seating: The audience is free to walk through the space / sit / lie on the floor.
- Soft transitions of light, it may occasionally feel too dark for some, but it never becomes intentionally frightening.
- There are mechanical sounds of the robots coming out of the walls, these are mixed with creaking sounds, sometimes buzzing sounds. The level of this is quite quiet.
- The audience may walk in and out freely, decide for themselves how long they stay, how much they move, whether they prefer to stand to the side or move among the slow-moving walls. One may be very close or just far away from the walls, one may touch them gently if desired. We only ask that you do not block the movement of the walls.

- Audience seating: The audience can move throughout the space.

- Audience is offered food and drinks throughout the performance. Food ingredients are communicated.
- There are sudden loud noises, throughout the piece the audio is very loud, the sound changes suddenly and there are many different sounds at the same time.
- The audience can decide to which degree they will participate: they can be physically touched, they are asked to touch objects, they can verbally participate, they can physically participate.

- The audience is asked to participate verbally; they are asked to sing back sounds, this is done as a group and not individually.

- The performer is wearing a costume made of real bird feathers .
- The performer lies, and moves slowly through different spots in the foyer.
- The audience does not have to engage with the performance.

Sien Vanmaele
- Audience seating: The audience is seated in chairs.
- The performance is very quiet and meditative but plays on sensory stimuli, which most people experience as pleasant (warm water, nice smells, ...).
- The performance plays on all the senses, mainly taste and smell, there is tasting, smelling, eating and cooking with the hands, a dip is served on the wrists of the participants, they have to roll their own balls of hummus, touch herbs, so some interaction is expected, you work in groups of 3 so you also have to share with 3 certain objects and ingredients.

- There are needles present in one space on the first floor.
- Bodily Fluids (soap made of urine), possible smell.
