What does ‘public space’ provide within the limitations imposed by society and politics? How do we experience public places which all too often adopt a heteronormative perspective from the start? How can we stimulate mutual generosity? DO YOU WANT A HAPPY ENDING? goes in search of the answer. At the same time, this performance is an exercise in ‘empathetic design’, and your emotions are also welcome. Without the involvement of you, the audience, the installation is incomplete. In a kind of ziggurat made from textiles, you can receive a relaxation massage*, while listening to the analysis by these makers. Or just step inside the installation for a moment – what can you hear?
