Club Efemeer, a collaboration between visual artists Maarten Vanermen and Arnaud De Wolf, puts our Red hall in the spotlight with an ephemeral light installation that slowly moves in space. Silence and sound are inextricably linked. Light and darkness share this connection, which carries a certain fragility - a fragility that is central to the installations of this duo.
Club Efemeer was created during a residency at Cas-co (Leuven) where the artists created a temporary club for the closing party of the open studios. Since then they have been making autonomous installations and scenographies for, and inspired by, the night and nightlife.
