Manu Mpasi – Le Monologue de l’Aube

What does it mean to constantly move between different worlds? In Le Monologue de l’Aube, Belgian-Congolese and Ghanaian choreographer and performer Manu Garçia Mpasi takes us on a personal exploration of identity and its  psychological weight. Inspired by Frantz Fanon’s Black Skin, White Masks, thoughts, questions and memories are transformed in a hypnotic personal mix of hip-hop, contemporary dance and African performance traditions.

Julia-Beth Harris – Where the Clouds Gather

Where does a story begin, and where does it end? In Where the Clouds Gather, Julia-Beth Harris takes us on a journey through time, continents and memories. Born in Cape Town and now based in Amsterdam, she weaves poetry and performance into a personal story about migration, heritage and the encounter between worlds. From the first colonial crossings to today’s multicultural cities, Harris asks: “When worlds meet, will we choose fear or love?”

Abdoulaye Trésor Konaté – Humming-Bird / Colibri

A small bird that refuses to give up is the starting point for this intimate dance solo. For choreographer and dancer Abdoulaye Trésor Konaté, the hummingbird symbolises resilience, care and the power of small gestures. Through his body, he tells a poetic story about how individual actions can take on meaning in a world facing ecological and social change.
