Plum Road Tea Dream is a theatrical performance in which the audience follows two performers immersed in a video game. This virtual game world was designed by the mysterious S. as a space for new mourning rituals, to store memories and reflect on their identity as a person of color and a queer artist.

The performance combines theater, gaming and rituals. Through the performative possibilities of livestreaming, the two performers discover the intimate emotional and experiential world of the character S. The audience is drawn into a cinematic experience that becomes theatrical because the streaming takes place in real time on stage. This creates a popular dynamic within the online gaming world on stage: a community that, as an audience, watches a player discover a game for the first time.

Plum Road Tea Dream offers a layered story through encounters, recognition, and imagination, combining fiction and reality. It is an immersive experience that encourages empathy.
