Vinny Jones uses light as a sensory medium to explore the relationship between audience and space. In her work, light is not only seen but physically experienced, within a practice she refers to as “sensory scenography.” Jones has long been interested in how spaces and systems are not only organised, but also how they affect the people who move through them. In Blue is an Agreement, she connects the existing lighting network of de Brakke Grond with her own fixtures, giving the building a renewed opportunity to speak to us.
